Food Glorious Food - Dining with Dickens

Previously unseen objects and handwritten letters make up a new exhibition at the Charles Dickens museum.

The exhibition explores the influential novelist as a dinner party host and entertainer, revealing new facts about his relationship to food - both in his novels and his childhood.

On the 175th anniversary of the original publication of A Christmas Carol, the museum, which is Dickens's first family home, has been also been given a Christmassy decor.

"Food Glorious Food - Dining with Dickens" is on until the 22nd April 2019 at the Charles Dickens Museum.
