Mayor of London launches winter plan for the homeless

More than 100 contactless donation points are set to appear across the capital as part of City Hall's strategy to support the homeless.

The technology will allow people to give £3 to a group of charities.

The plan was revealed as the Mayor said winter shelters would be opened across the capital in freezing temperatures, and extra outreach teams will be on hand to help bring people in off the streets.
