Too many children missing out on first choice of secondary school

A Third of London's children miss out on their first choice secondary school. That's according to a report published by Labour MP Harriet Harman.

The worst local authority for children securing a place was Hammersmith and Fulham, followed by the City of London.

We spoke to Education charity The Sutton Trust who said it's often those from disadvantages backgrounds that are worst affected.
