Encouraging Londoners to get on two wheels

Sadiq Khan has announced a Cycle Action Plan in which he hopes to increase the percentage of people walking and cycling up to to 80 per cent by 2041.

The mayor says it's the largest investment in cycling infrastructure that any city in the UK has ever had, with works on a number of new routes beginning in the new year.

The Mayor launched the plan at a renovated area in Edmonton Green.
