Detective turned author pens knife crime novel

The former Metropolitan Police detective turned author Kate London has been speaking about her latest novel, which addresses the capital's knife crime crisis.

'Gallowstree Lane' tells the story of 15-year-old Ryan, whose friend is stabbed to death.

The book also gives an insight into the pressures at Scotland Yard, and trying to solve murders with fewer officers.
