Can we wipe out HIV transmissions by 2030

Medical experts and politicians from around the world have gathered in London for a major summit aimed at creating a global aids-free future.

The event, part of a campaign by the Evening Standard, was introduced by the Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who announced the ambition to achieve zero new HIV transmissions by 2030.

The Government also announced extra funding, whilst London-based projects were championed for their work.
