The story of the last woman to be hanged in England

The story of Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in England, is coming to the Tower Theatre.

Having shot her lover outside a pub in Hampstead, The Thrill of Love, explores the events leading up to the crime, and whether or not the nightclub hostess could have be saved from the noose.

We spoke to the play's director and star.
