Exhibition looks back on 100 years of female Met Police officers

As part of events to mark the centenary of women working as officers within the Metropolitan Police, a new exhibition charting the last 100 years has been opened by the current Commissioner.

Included in the exhibition, at the Metropolitan Police heritage centre in West Brompton are cartoons which poked fun at the idea, and newspaper articles praising the role of female PCs during the war. 

The exhibition is on at the Metropolitan Police heritage centre in West Brompton until July 26th 2019.
