If You Don't Know Me

Almost a decade after his passing, the story of the Soul legend Teddy Pendergrass is being brought to light through a new documentary.

If You Don't Know Me is a nod to one of his biggest hits and will have its UK premiere at the BFI on Tuesday 19th February.

It charts his story through rarely seen footage, and interviews with his friends and family.

The Bafta winning film director Olivia Lichtenstein is behind the documentary and James Carter is one of Teddy's band members.
