The work of two greats of 20th century Scottish painting are brought side by side for a new exhibition at the Newport Street Gallery.

Bar the similarly bold colours, the large canvases of Alan Davie and John Bellany might not look alike, but those behind the show seek to highlight a parallel Celtic energy that inspired the two painters.
