Mayor announces redevelopment of Holloway Prison site

A deal to build 1,000 new homes on the former Holloway Prison site in North London has been announced. Sadiq Khan says City Hall is putting more than £40 million forward in a loan, meeting around half the cost of the new estate. The Mayor says 60 percent of the new properties will be affordable, and the plan will also include a centre for women - following a campaign over the use of the ex-women's prison.
