Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light opens at the National Portrait Gallery

The National Gallery has unveiled the first UK exhibition of Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida's works in more than a century.

The Spanish Impressionist is known as the 'master of light' because of his iridescent canvases - with the new showcase featuring more than 60 works, from seascapes and garden views and portraits.

Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light is on until July 7th at the National Portrait Gallery.
