Lisa Oppenheim's American Colony opens at the Approach

In 1915 Jerusalem and areas of Syria were hit by a biblical style plague of locusts. Images of the event have now formed part of a new exhibition by the New York based artist Lisa Oppenheim.

The showcase, called American Colony has seen Oppenheim take archive prints and place them together with others that used a historic method for making a picture look 3D.

The exhibition is open at The Approach until May 5th.
