Performance of Handel's 'Brockes Passion' coming to the Barbican

300 years after its original outing, the closest version of Handel's Brockes Passion, as the composer intended it, will be performed at the Barbican this coming Holy Week.

The original manuscript is long lost, but a recent discovery has allowed the Academy of Ancient Music to create what's said to be a more accurate version of the piece.

Sandy Burnett the Academy's Hogwood fellow explained more.

The performance is on Good Friday at the Barbican.
