Lloyds of London join the Mets Employer Supported Policing scheme

The insurance firm Lloyd's has joined a Metropolitan Police scheme which will see some of its employees trained to become special constables.

The programme looks for volunteers, with companies giving their staff time off during working hours, to help support frontline officers.
