Sea Star at the National Gallery

Inspired by JMW Tuner's painting The Evening Star, the contemporary abstract artist Sean Scully has created a new exhibition at the National Gallery, surrounding the work that triggered the showcase.

Hung side by side with Turner's masterpiece, are new paintings, that in many ways echo the horizontal lines found within Turner's work.

Sea Star is on at the National Gallery until August.
