Melehi - Morocco's modernist master

His use of bright colours and patterns helped him to become Morocco's modernist master.

Now at the age of 82, Londoners can rediscover the work of Mohamed Melehi.

The artist's psychedelic paintings are often characterised by wavy parallel lines, a recurring concept that runs throughout his career.

The New Waves exhibition is on the the Mosaic Rooms until the 22nd of June.
