Mayor of London visits UK's first LGBT+ homeless shelter

The Mayor has visited the UK's first LGBTQI+ homeless shelter and community centre after it moved into a bigger, more practical space.

The organisation behind it, The Outside Project, is now using the former Clerkenwell fire station to provide support services.

With more that 22,000 commercial properties in the capital out of use, Sadiq Khan says this is a perfect example of how landlords and businesses can open up spaces to help rough sleepers.
