Raw Materials: Plastics Exhibition

The history of plastic and how it's origins can be traced back to Hackney Wick is being retold in a new exhibition at the Bow Arts centre.

As part of their on-going series Raw Materials, which explores East London's industrial heritage, the latest installation focuses on a victorian inventor, who created a substance which led to world's first man-made plastics.

Raw Materials: Plastics Exhibition is on from the 17th May until the 25th of August 2019.
