'Victoria: A Royal Childhood' to open at Kensington Palace

Events are underway to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria.

To mark the bicentenary, Kensington Palace, where Victoria was born on the 24th of May 1819, has opened a new exhibition, dedicated to the monarch.

As part of the installation, some of the rooms there have been reverted back into what they would have been like while a young Victoria was growing up.
