J'Ouvert at Theatre503

Battersea's Theatre503 is being transformed into the streets of Notting Hill for a new production exploring Carnival, the women who breath life into the event, and how they're treated.

J'Ouvert follows Jade and Nadine - two best friends as they enter into the sea of colour and sequins - but the world they felt was theirs reveals a different side.

The production is the debut play from Yasmin Joseph and has been produced by Tobi Kyeremateng.

If you fancy experiencing the thrill of carnival a little bit earlier this year, J'Ouvert is on until Saturday 22nd June 2019.
