Bunmi Ogunsiji shortlisted for The Society of Authors Award

A mother from South London has made the shortlist for this year's The Society of Authors awards.

Bunmi Ogunsiji has been nominated for the short story prize for her work Blessing.

The ceremony will see the UK's biggest literary fund of more than £100,000 awarded to authors.

Bunmi told us how her piece was linked to dementia, and her own experience of how it had affected her family. 

The awards will be announced on the 17th of June at Southwark Cathedral.
