Da Vinci: A Mind in Motion

Leonardo da Vinci's belief that motion was the cause of all life is the focus of the British Library's tribute to the Italian genius.

It's the latest venue across the capital to open an exhibition based on his works, to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.

Among the items that have gone on show are sketches and drawings linked to his scientific investigations, and attempts to solve mathematical problems.

Da Vinci: A Mind in Motion is on until September at the British Library.
