Vik Muniz collages dig deeper into perceptions of reality

Perception, reality and representation are among the key themes for the latest work by Vik Muniz.

The Brazilian artist and photographer is known for his use of unexpected materials, including dust, sugar, caviar and even diamonds to create his work.

At first glance his latest collection looks like a mix of paper collages, but the artist says he hopes those who come to see it, will find hidden depths.

Real Pictures is at the Ben Brown Fine Arts Gallery until September.
