David Williams-Ellis on his D-Day sculpture

To mark the 75th anniversary of D Day, a poignant sculpture was unveiled at the new British Normandy Memorial in France.

The centrepiece was created by Sculptor, David Williams-Ellis and shows a trio of soldiers. Last week's events are now being followed by an exhibition of the sketches and first designs of the sculpture here in the capital.

You can see the Maquettes, at the Portland Gallery until the 21st June and at the Masterpiece London Art Fair from the 27th until the 3rd of July.
