'The Mapping of The Moon' coincides with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing

Our obsession with the skies and efforts to chart our nearest neighbour are being recognised in a new exhibition called 'The Mapping of The Moon'.

The installation explores diagrams, photographs and documents dating back to the sixteen hundreds and presents a chronology of our scientific understanding of the earth's lunar satellite.

That exhibition, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing is at the Map House in Knightsbridge until August 21st.
