East Bank: London's upcoming cultural hub

Work has begun to create a huge new cultural hub in East London. Based at the Olympic Park in Stratford - East Bank - will bring together institutions like UCL and the London College of Fashion, along with the BBC, Sadlers Wells and the V+A.

The Mayor says the project will be the biggest single investment of its kind since the 1850s.

Sadiq Khan made the claim as he joined school children to plant a time capsule.
