'The Disappearing East End' exhibition opens in Stratford

A new exhibition has opened in Stratford titled 'The Disappearing East End - Canning Town Steel'. The collection by painter Morgan Penn, features 12 oil portraits on mild steel of colourful characters from Canning Town. The portraits reflect the style of Victorian daguerrotype photographs which are scratched and pitted and tell a story of the London's changing East End.
