Art in Exile at the Imperial War Museum

Never before seen documents of the Imperial War Museum's plans for evacuating priceless art from capitals galleries during World War II have gone on display.

The Art in Exile exhibition details the tough decisions made over which works they should save in the event of the allies losing the war - as well as how they planned on carrying out the evacuation.
