New one woman show about a historic music hall feud

An actress from North London is offering up a revisionist take on musical history with her new one woman show.

Taking on the role of 19th century music hall entertainer Nelly Power, her show titled Marie Lloyd Stole My Life charts how her rival stole her fame - by stealing her music.

Charlotte Walker spoke to James Dickman 


Marie Lloyd Stole My Life is on at the Mary Wallace Theatre on the 27th of July.
