We Sing The Body Electric

Using the American writer Walt Whitman's poem "I sing the Body Electric" as its basis - a new multimedia all-female exhibition has opened at Whitechapel's Gallery 46.

Each of the works focuses on a specific part of the body, whilst challenging the traditional use of the female nude within art.

'We Sing The Body Electric' is on until the end of August.
