Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers Festival returns

With the Notting Hill Carnival just a few weeks away an event is taking place at Horniman Park as a pre curser to the festival to ensure that its roots are fully remembered and understood.

The annual Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers Community Festival pays tribute to those holding the reigns when its all began.

I spoke with Organiser David Kalloo and Tobago Crusoe - a calypsonian music legend - we started by talking about the performances you can see.
