Sadiq Khan gives £1.4m to community groups

Sadiq Khan has announced more funding to deal with violent crime in London, with an extra 1.4 million pounds has been made available for community groups working to provide teenagers with activities to keep them safe. 

Around 40 organisations will receive funding from London’s Violence Reduction Unit, which uses a public health approach to cut knife violence targeting the causes of crime.
