New play 'Jollof Wars' being performed in the capital

Written by 25-year-old Londoner, Gail Egbeson, for schools and community theatres, new play, 'Jollof Wars' has a cast made up entirely of young people, aged between 16 to 25.

The play is told through the lens of a Nigerian chef and her fiancé arguing about which jollof rice should be served at their wedding.

Gail came into to tell Alicia more, alongside Steffi, who stars in the show. 

There are two chances to see it, on October 22nd at Theatre Peckham and October 23rd, at Poplar Union.
