Who inspired a generation of black British footballers?

40 years ago, Laurie Cunningham from North London became the first British player in modern history to play for Real Madrid.

Marking the anniversary as well as celebrating the impact he had on inspiring a whole generation of the young black British footballers, a play based on his life is now opening at the Greenwich Theatre.

Director, Moira Hunt told Alicia more.

'Getting the Third Degree' is on both Saturday and Sunday at the Greenwich Theatre.
