Gallery marks 100 years since artist's first solo show

Just over a century since David Bomberg's first solo show, the National Gallery has obtained a large collection of the British painter's work.

The new exhibition explores his relationship with the gallery, and the paintings he most admired.

For the first time it also placed some of his earliest works alongside his last.

'Young Bomberg and the Old Masters' is on until the Spring.
