Meet the man transforming disabled lives across the capital

The founder of London's largest sports club for people with disabilities says more work is needed to tackle loneliness and isolation within the community at Christmas.

Peter Ackred says the Disability Sport Coach charity will be running a special club in East London over the festive period to combat the problem.

Today is international day of persons with disabilities - and Peter began by explaining how his severe stammer left him unable to find work.

He asked that we add subtitles to his interview.

The free christmas club run by Peter's charity will be at the Castle Leisure Centre in East London on the 30th of December - head to the disability sports coach website for information.
