A life-size light up polar bear has popped up in Mount Street Gardens

A life-size light up polar bear has popped up in Mount Street Gardens in Westminster for Christmas to remind people about two messages.

The Giving Bear - backed by the environmental company Veolia, New West End Company and Westminster City Council and made by Creative Industries students from Kingston School of Art - aims to make people think about the impact of waste plastic, and about those in need of extra help at this time of year.

The Giving Bear is at Westminster's Mount Street Gardens, until the 6 January 2020.
