Rare works from renowned British artist William Turner go on show at his former home in Twickenham

Sir David Attenborough opened the first exhibition of William Turner's original work in the house the artist designed and lived in in Twickenham. 'Turner and The Thames: Five Paintings' features some rare oil sketches depicting the scenes close to the river which served as inspiration for Turner throughout his life.

That's on at Turner's House in Twickenham until March 29.
