New play to mark Holocaust Memorial Day starring Oscar-nominated actor David Strathairn opens tonight

As Londoners join others around the world to mark Holocaust Memorial Day and the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz - the Nazi Concentration camp - the powerful play 'Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski' will be performed this evening in Mile End, by the Oscar nominated actor David Strathairn. It explores the legacy of the Polish war hero and Holocaust witness, Jan Karski, who informed Western Allies of the atrocities taking place.

It's on tonight at the People's Palace Theatre at Queen Mary University.
