‘Barging Free’: The new book displaying a couple’s journey to living on a houseboat

Have you ever thought about ditching rent prices to live on a houseboat?

Well that’s exactly what Alan Denman and his wife set out to do 5 years ago.

With no previous experience of either DIY or canal cruising, Alan decided to keep a log of their long and difficult path to financial freedom and semi-retirement.

The book ‘Barging Free’ is out now.
