Genetic Automata: The new exhibition focusing on scientific racism

Race and identity are being explored through the lens of two artists who use video and games to delve into the topic.

Genetic Automata is the work of Larry Achiampong and David Blandy who have created 4 new short films.

They look at scientific racism and the prejudice they have seen and experienced.

We’ve been speaking to the pair about the new exhibition and to learn more about how they have approached this important issue through the medium of art.

Genetic Automata is on at the Wellcome Collection in Euston from the 8th June up until the 11th February next year.
