Lenny Henry

Lenny Henry has told London Live that boardrooms & offices in England are full of 'institutionalised discrimination.'

Speaking after his appointment as an adviser to the BBC on diversity - the comedian says 40% of Londoners are from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities (BAME)  but only 5.4% of the broadcasting industry is made up of people from those backgrounds.

And he's been telling London Live he believes the problem exists right across the workplace - not just in the arts and broadcast worlds.
