London Zoo criticised after poisonous snake escapes from tank

London Zoo have been critcised after they failed to tell authorities that a poisonous snake had escaped from its tank.

The venomous serpent was spotted in the zoo's reptile quarantine area by a passing zoo keeper.

It happened two years ago but the escape came up in recent report into safety concerns.

The Zoo say they're working to address safety issues.
