The Londoner running 7 extreme marathons to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK
Thursday (21/09) was National Alzheimer’s day.
To help mark it we spoke to Londoner Louis Alexander is taking on a huge physical challenge to honour his Grandfather who battled and passed away from dementia.
He’s running 7 marathons across the most remote corners of the world with all the money raised going to Alzheimer’s Research UK and spoke to Sara about the memories he has with his grandfather and how he’s training for runs taking place in such varied conditions from rainforests to deserts and even an unwanted run in with some local animals.
