The women behind iconic soundtracks

A new concert dedicated to celebrating the women behind some of the scores of the big screen, is coming to the capital.

Composher aims to showcase female music makers, and inspire a new generation to write for the film and TV industry.

Tanya Francis has been speaking to two of the women involved, Ann Nikitin who provided the soundtrack for the Bafta winning documentary ‘The Imposter’ and Nainita Desai a Bafta breakthrough winner.

Both guests will be performing at Composeher on the 12th of June at the Earth theatre in Hackney.
