Paralympic gold medallist Chris Skelley on new campaign to help others with visual impairments

Paralympic GB gold medal winner Chris Skelley has launched ‘See Sport Differently’ with the RNIB, a £1m campaign to encourage the UK’s two million blind and partially sighted people to get more physically active.

Skelley is fresh off the back of winning gold in the Men’s 100kg Judo at the Tokyo Paralympics this summer.

The campaign comes as new figures show that blind and partially sighted people are twice as likely to be completely inactive as people without a vision impairment, with more than half of people with the disability doing less than 30 minutes of physical activity a week.

Chris spoke with James about the imitative and his own memories or getting into Judo despite his disability.
