London Film ‘Lucas and Albert’ nominated for Best Picture

A new film set right here in the capital has come to Amazon Prime. Nominated for a National Film award, ‘Lucas and Albert’ follows two hitmen who are hired to clean up after a bank robbery that went wrong 20 years ago but all isn’t what it seems. One of the film’s stars and co writer AG Longhurst spoke with Zakeea.

Controversially this dark comedy encourages the audience to warm to two dodgy villains. Originally a play this London based film explores a darker side to the capital and has now been nominated for the national film awards ‘Best Picture’ AG was surprised and delighted with the news that the film has done so well, originally thinking it was a joke that the film was up against the likes ‘1917 and ‘Astronaut’. But after confirming that ‘Lucas and Albert’ was in fact nominated he and the whole team felt very humbled.
