Comedian Rajiv Karia on his debut show ‘Gallivant’

A comedy writer and producer from East London, Rajiv Karia has been working on shows such as Have I Got News For You, The Now Show, The News Quiz and more.

Now, he’s put together his first full hour of stand-up comedy, that he’ll be taking to the Edinburgh Fringe, after a few more performances in London.

His show ‘Gallivant’ tells a story of being an adventurous teenager with dreams of seeing the world, and becoming an adult with a far less exciting lifestyle. Rajiv looks towards the incredible things his parents had done by the time they were his age… while his idea of adventure is queuing 45 minutes for falafel.

James spoke with him about the show and his hopes for the Edinburgh Fringe.

‘Gallivant’ will be on at the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon on 20th July, and at the Pleasance Theatre Islington on the 26th July.
