A call to ease the tax burden on the capital’s pubs
As pubs across London enjoyed a return on mass to watch England’s Semi-final and the expectation that the pumps will flow fast again this coming Sunday, there’s a call to make sure the revival of the industry isn’t short lived.
The ‘Long Live The Local’ campaign has called on the government to reduce what it says is an unfair tax burden on pubs and breweries.
David Cunningham is the campaign director and spoke to Anthony.
